The stubborn obstinacy in wanting to do things in one’s own way is a universally recognized trait of the Calabrian temperament. At times it is expressed in a stubbornness linked to a lack of mental elasticity, in others it is linked to a preconceived distrust for other people’s advice. More often, behind this rigid and apparently distrustful behaviour there is a splendid form of perseverance, virtuous and moving, carved into the DNA of a people used to struggle.

Icona size
Two-sided ultraviolet direct print panel. Dimension: Cm 33x50x0.5. Material: Forex. Shaped rigid panel in high density PVC foam. Waterproof.

 

The artwork is packed in rigid cardboard boxes. Shipping costs to be paid by the buyer, alternatively the artwork can be picked up, without shipping costs, at Tessilarredo store (+39 0961 727014), located in Via Alcide De Gasperi 52, Catanzaro, Italy. The placement of the artwork does not necessarily require a frame. Because of printing technique and material chosen by the author, the artwork may present slight imperfections that characterize it and guarantee its uniqueness.
